Time for the New Year
TIME FOR THE NEW YEAR

posted 12/30/2008
Christmas is over and the new year is just ahead. Time for thinking
about the future, new resolutions and gratitude. Today I am especially
grateful for the snow being gone and the sun shining brightly in the
sky (this is Sunday, the 28th of December).
The future looks bright to me. We have a new administration coming in and even with all the doom and gloom in the news there is an undercurrent of optimism. There will be a lot of work and even some hardship along the way, but I believe we will come out of this better than ever.
Most of us are busy working on next year's resolutions as we usually do at this time of year. We look at our mistakes and shortcomings of the past year and get prepared to make changes. If we all could just resolve to love ourselves and each other better, most of the day-to-day things would take care of themselves. That is just my opinion but when we look at the religions and spiritual teachings, they all seem to agree.
Gratitude. For me this is the most important thing I want to work on this next year. When I look at my family, friends, co-workers in our office and at our community, I realize how much I have to be grateful for. All of us, no matter what our circumstances, can find something to give thanks for in our daily lives. Yes, we all have challenges, but the more we concentrate on those, the more of them we will see manifest in our lives. So let's work on our gratitude muscles and begin to build up more to be grateful for each and every day.
Since this is a health oriented article I would be remiss if I didn't mention our philosophy on health. As stated in our first article, we believe there are six interferences to health:
- Structural imbalances
- Electromagnetic pollution
- Nutritional deficiencies
- Allergies and sensitivities
- Emotional imbalances
- Environmental Toxicities
This article is mostly about the emotional portion of the six steps to wellness. How we think about the past, present and future. If you have questions about how to overcome some of your health issues or just how to move more toward optimum health, give us a call lat 378-5660 or go to our website at: .
Here's wishing you a wonderful 2009!
Yours in Health
